Bishop Barker and Canon Easton will join us for worship on Sunday, February 15. Erin Cawiezel, Allie Cawiezel, Janet Craven and Janey Sunderland from Saint Francis, as well as Reece Meysenburg from Holy Apostles, will be confirmed that day. Dyllan Coop from Saint Francis will be received. We hope you'll join us to support and celebrate our newly confirmed and received Episcopalians!

This Sunday, February 8, Super Bowl Sunday, Youth Fellowship is pleased to host our own SOAPer Bowl of Caring! We'll collect toiletries so those in need
in our valley can know the dignity and comfort of personal hygiene. Items gathered will be distributed to CAPWN and Potter's Wheel.
Cash donations are also welcome.

Those interested in helping welcome the diocese to Scottsbluff for this year's Annual Council October 22-24 are invited to a planning meeting with diocesan staff next Thursday, February 12 at 1:30 p.m. This meeting will be held via videoconference (Zoom). A group of us will gather in Saint Francis' library. If you prefer to join us from another location, please contact Rev. Erin for the meeting ID and access code. If you're interested in helping but are unable to attend this meeting, please let Rev. Erin know.

The theme of Episcopal Relief and Development's 2026 Lenten Meditations is "Holy Habits." They're written by Sister Monica Clare, an Episcopal nun based in New Jersey. For more information, including the meditations, supporting resources and a sign up to receive reminder emails, please visit this link.

The Church Humor Corner--
“Pastor's Business Card”

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners.  At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned.  Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10.."

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.  Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."  Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."

Remember when the funniest jokes were the clean ones?

They still are! Pass it on
'A cheerful heart is good medicine'

(Prov. 17:22)
