Erin's Camp Photos ~ July 24, 2025 Costumed Scavenger Hunt Our first night at Calvin Crest, we learned the lay of the land through a scavenger hunt! Each clue directed us to a gift bag; each gift bag had part of a progressively sillier costume. Important gathering areas included the outdoor worship area (very pretty, but also buggy), the gaga ball pit, hammocks, upper area lodge (nightly high school social), basketball court, pool and -- my personal favorite -- the craft cabin. Program 1 For three mornings, we gathered to learn and grow during program hour. This year's theme was In Living Water. Talent Show On Thursday evening, campers delighted their peers and staff with varied and wonderful talents. Pictured here are two wonderful young ladies who were in my cabin last year, Nat and Raynique. This event features Christmas Treasures, Flea Market items and Bakery Treats! Please start looking through your closets and drawers for items you could donate to be sold at this event, and bakery items you could donate. NO Clothes please. We need volunteers who would like to help with pricing starting on Monday, July 21st, 9:00am- 12:00, throughout the week before the Sale. Even if you can only help for a short time it will be appreciated. We also need volunteers to help on July 26th at the sale. Sign up on the sheet in the Narthex, for a two hour block of time and give us your phone number. Your donations are welcomed starting Saturday, July 19th on the long table on the East wall of the Parish Hall, thru Friday, July 25th.
