Adult Programs
St. Francis offers a variety of opportunities for adults to join in study and fellowship.
Men's Bible Study -- This is a group open to those who are looking for some coffee and conversation loosely centered on the particular book of the bible we happen to be reading through, which more often than not leads us into issues we all face in our daily lives and relationships. Coffee is always on. 7-8 a.m. every Wednesday in the parish library.
Women's Discipleship Study -- Meets Wednesdays at 3 p.m. in the parish library. Again, coffee, fellowship, and study of a book of the bible, which leads us not only into deeper relationship with God, but with each other. No preparation or invitation necessary. Just show up and join in!
Thursday Noon Discipleship Prayer Group -- Meets Thursdays at 12 p.m. in the library. Focus is in deeper formation around scripture and prayer. See Fr. Mark for more information.
Wednesday Evening Food, Fellowship, and Study -- We offer adult education classes on Wednesday nights during many seasons, led by both clergy and lay members. We begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by program and try to be done by 8 p.m.
Thursday Evening Open Bible Study -- This is an eclectic group of men and women, singles and couples, who gather in the library for spirited conversation, discussion, and even disagreements about what scripture is calling us to be and do. No invitation or prep needed. 6 p.m.Thursdays.
Sunday Morning Bible Study -- Led by Rae Whitney, this group meets in the Library, just off the offices, between services from 9-9:45 a.m.. The group reads through and discusses the readings assigned for that morning's worship, which brings the texts to life in a new way. No prior reading required. Just come and grab a cup of coffee and meet in the Library.
Sunday Morning Coffee Hour -- No list of our adult activities would be complete without noting that coffee and treats are available every Sunday after both services. People say this is really the best way that the church has for folks to get to know each other. Everyone is invited and everyone is encouraged and everyone is welcome. Please join us for a cup of coffee and some conversation.

Children's Ministry
We are blessed to have a growing number of infants and children here at St. Francis, and so our Children's Ministries are growing, too!
We currently offer a Montessori-style Sunday School program we call "Godly Play" for elementary-age kids during our 10 a.m. Sunday service. Parents and children meet their teachers up in the classroom above the parish hall right before before church. At approximately 10:40 a.m., the teachers bring the kids back to the church where they join their parents for communion.
Nursery is also provided during our 10 a.m. service for infants and children not yet in school, also located upstairs above the parish hall.
At all services, children of any age are also welcome to attend church and sit with their parents for the entire service. Noise is growth, and so parents are encouraged to relax and do their best. No one judges or glares (at least we hope they won't) because many or most of us have "been there" and "done that."
All baptized Christians, including infants and children, are welcome and encouraged to receive Communion during the service.

Youth Activites
Our Youth Group meets on the 1st and Sunday 3rd each month at 9 a.m. in the Youth Room (downstairs). Every week there is check-in and a chance to talk about whatever is current, but also some great teaching. Monthly there is a fun activity such as movie, service project, etc.
Before or after their meeting. Middle and high-school students attend worship. Since they are full members in the church, youth who are interested may serve in one of many capacities at the service:

- Reader -- reading the lessons assigned for that day
- Intercessor -- leading the prayers
- Acolyte -- assisting clergy at the altar
- Eucharistic Minister -- older teens may assist in distributing communion
