  • This Sunday is Consecration Sunday!
    • During the service, we'll pray over your pledges of time, talent and treasure. (If you submitted your pledge electronically, I'll write your name -- but no other information -- on a slip of paper for the blessing.)
    • To celebrate your participation, our service will be followed by a delicious brunch by the Episcopal Church Women.
    • If you missed my stewardship letter, you can read it here.
    • If you haven't pledged and would like to, the form is available electronically at bit.ly/sfsbgive2023. If you prefer a paper form, they're available in the narthex. Thank you those who already completed this year's pledge form!

  • Bishop Barker will visit Saint Francis a week from Friday to celebrate our new ministry together! Please see your invitation below. Because of this special service, I'll be in the office Friday but not Monday of next week.
  • Our annual meeting will be held immediately following worship on Sunday, January 29. If you're interested in serving as the meeting clerk, please let me know. We have several openings on the vestry and will need diocesan council delegates. Look for more information in the weeks ahead.

Learn more from our flyer, and read about the resolution in an ENS article here. All are welcome - EfM Graduates, Mentors, Students, and interested individuals. This event is free, but we suggest a donation of $25 to St. Benedict's Food Pantry. Click here to register now. • I'm on vacation this week, but will return in time for our regular Sunday service on New Year's Day.
  • Our 2023 Stewardship campaign is now underway! You should have received a letter in your inbox on Tuesday.
    • The pledge form is available electronically here, or paper copies are available in the narthex.
    • The first section of the form asks about gifts of time and talents. This section is optional but encouraged (and is a way for me to get to know you better). The second section asks about gifts of treasure.
    • Responses will be held in confidence and only available to the treasurer and church staff.
    • If you would like a paper form mailed to you, please let the front office know.
