  • The Blessing of the Animals will take place at Centennial Park this Sunday, October 1, at 2 p.m.
    • Anyone from the wider community is welcome to attend. You're encouraged to bring some friends (furry, feathered, scaled or human)!
    • As in years past, this service is ecumenical and will include leadership from First Presbyterian Church.
    • If the weather is questionable, check our Facebook page and website for rescheduling information.
  • Our patronal feast celebration is a week from Sunday, October 8.
    • We'll celebrate the story of our patron Saint, Francis, and the story of our wonderful community.
    • Our Sunday Eucharist will be followed by a marvelous brunch hosted by the Episcopal Church Women.
  • I learned something new this week: September is Preparedness Month.
    • This year's theme is disaster preparedness for older adults.
    • For more information on creating a disaster preparedness plan, visit https://www.ready.gov/older-adults.
