Thursday Announcements April 28, 2022 FATHER MARK’S ANNOUNCEMENTS 1) What can say? It was a glorious day and the most warm and loving send-off any rector could ask for. The pews and the lunch tables were full, the worship was joyous, the food was delicious, and the company was extraordinary. There is no way I could adequately thank you for all that you have done and meant to me and my family these past nine years, but I absolutely mean it when I say it has been the great privilege of my career. You are an amazing church, and you bring out the best in all who serve here. You will undoubtedly do the same for the next lucky priest who accepts this call, and I am so excited to see the great things you accomplish together in the years ahead. Over our years together every time I gave away a bible or prayer book to youth or adults I put into the inscription the thing I absolutely believe is critical for every Christian to know -- “_____ never forget that you are a Beloved Child of God.” Dear sisters and brothers, I leave you with all my love and admiration, and with that admonition to remember who you are, and to whom you forever belong. And now, may “the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, be amongst you, and remain with you always. Amen.” (Phil 4, BCP p. 339) ANN’S ADDITIONS Enjoy your next “adventure,” FR. Mark! We’ll always remember you with great love! Happy Birthday!!!
