Thursday Announcements December 8, 2022 ERIN’S EPISTLETTES Last week, a parishioner received a text from someone pretending to be me and asking for gift cards. Please know I will never ask for gift cards nor will I ever text you from a number other than my cell. (Note the different area code on this message.) f you ever doubt the veracity of a message received in any format (be it email, text, phone call, Facebook, etc.) please contact me on a known channel (such as my previously published email or cell, or the front office phone) to confirm before responding. Midweek Eucharists have begun! We gather in the chapel Wednesdays at six. We're using the Rite I liturgy directly from the Book of Common Prayer during Advent. All are welcome! There's lots happening at Saint Francis in the next few weeks! Please read the rest of the enews so you don't miss out. Sacred Ground Registration Extended The registration deadline for the next diocesan-wise Sacred Ground session has been extended until December 16. Register now! Sacred Ground is a dialogue series on race grounded in faith, and participants learn about historic and contemporary racism in the U.S. and how to encourage improved human relations for ourselves, our communities, and our nation.
