From the office--Ann’s Announcements Birthdays Gail Burbach November 21 Gretchen Foster November 24 Anniversaries Jon & Amy Meyer November 20 This year’s Thanksgiving meal will be hosted by St. Francis on Thursday, November 24th at 11:30 am. Ham, Turkey, potatoes and gravy and beverages will be provided. If you care to share your favorite hot side, salad, or dessert, please signup on the sheet in the Narthex or call Ann Salomon in the office at 632-4626 Ext. 3, and let her know you are coming, and what you will be bringing. We would like to have a count of how many are coming by Monday, Nov. 21st at the latest, to have enough turkey and ham for everyone. The Daughters of the King have decided to suspend the collection of personal hygiene items for the rest of this year. There are so many other opportunities during the holidays to help our community that need our support. Thanks your generous outpouring, we’ve been able to provide items to Doves, WNCC Student Life and the Hope Center. We will resume collection the fourth Sunday in January. If you'd like to learn to make the kind of sourdough bread sold at the local farmer's market, please contact Carolyn Pevey at [email protected] for information about what to bring to church at 630 on November 15. We have six spots but can do another session in December if there is interest. Expect to go home that night with a few ounces of fresh starter as well as dough ready to bake the following day or to keep refrigerated for baking a bit later. Prayer Requests * Please make sure your request is received by Wednesday of each week. You may call (308) 632-4626 (leave a message), email [email protected] or mail to: St. Francis Episcopal Church P.O.
